Top up $100 to your Revolut account via bank transfer at the start of the month
The first step you’ll need to do is to transfer $100 to your Revolut account.
This can be done via a normal bank transfer from one of your accounts to the Revolut account under your name.
It would be best to do this at the start of each month, so that you do not forget and forfeit any of your public transport expenses!
Moreover, you do not need to worry about locking up the money in your Revolut account, as it can be withdrawn back to your bank account.
Use your Revolut card for public transport expenses throughout the month
The next step will be to use your Revolut card for all of your bus and MRT rides. The maximum cashback you can earn each month is $10, which means that you will only receive cashback for up to $50 that you’ve spent on the Revolut card.
Your public transport fees will be automatically deducted from your Revolut account at the start of each day.
For public transport expenses that exceed the $50 maximum spend on Revolut, you may want to consider other cards, such as:

This usually will happen within the first week of the following month.
