How to link Crypto.com with StraitsX
To link Crypto.com with StraitsX, you will need to select the gear icon on the Crypto.com App homepage,
and then scroll down to the ‘StraitsX Account‘ under ‘Account‘.
This will give you the option to link your Crypto.com Account with your StraitsX account.
You will be asked to enter your full name and mobile number, and you will receive a verification SMS to confirm your identity.
After verifying your phone number, you will be notified that your account is pending review.
Why is my linkage with StraitsX still pending review?
If your StraitsX and Crypto.com linkage is still pending review after a few days, you can contact the support staff in the Crypto.com App. They will help you to double-check if your account has been successfully linked.
The linkage between StraitsX and Crypto.com should take a few business days before it is processed. However, I waited for at least a week, but there was still no news from Crypto.com!
I decided to contact the support team, and they helped me to expedite the verification process.
Within the next day, my Crypto.com account was finally linked to my StraitsX account!
It is important that all the details that you’ve entered in your Crypto.com account are exactly the same as your StraitsX account. This will help to ensure that your verification process will not be delayed!

Linking your StraitsX account with Crypto.com allows you to buy cryptocurrencies directly using SGD.
You are only able to buy 8 currencies directly from SGD, including BTC, CRO, USDC and BNB.
If you wish to buy other cryptocurrencies such as SHIB or SOL, you will need to make at least 2 trades. The spreads may be slightly higher on the Crypto.com App, but it is still a good way to start your crypto journey.
