3 Steps To Send SOL To Trust Wallet

If you own some SOL, you may be looking to send it to your Trust Wallet.

However, you are able to send SOL via its native chain (SOL).

Here’s a guide on how you can do so:

How to send SOL to Trust Wallet

Here are 3 steps to send SOL to your Trust Wallet:

  1. Select a platform that enables SOL withdrawals via the SOL network
  2. Obtain the SOL deposit address from Trust Wallet
  3. Send SOL from the platform of your choice to Trust Wallet

Here is each step explained further:

Select a platform that enables SOL withdrawals via the native SOL network

The first step you’ll need is to find a platform that supports SOL, and you are able to send SOL to Trust Wallet via the native SOL network.

Here are 5 platforms for your consideration:

PlatformNative SOL
Withdrawals
Binance0.01 SOL
Crypto.com0.0005 SOL
FTX0 SOL
Gate.io0.046 SOL
AAX0.01 SOL

You may notice that FTX charges the cheapest fees for Native SOL withdrawals.

Obtain the SOL deposit address from Trust Wallet

When you are on the homepage of your Trust Wallet, you will need to tap on ‘Receive‘.

Trust Wallet will now show you all the tokens that you can deposit onto their platform. You will need to search for SOL, and it will bring up the native SOL chain.

If you intend to deposit SOL via its native chain (SOL), your wallet address would neither start with ‘0x’ nor ‘bnb’.

This will allow you to view and copy the native SOL address.

Send SOL from the platform of your choice to Trust Wallet

After you have copied the deposit address from Trust Wallet, the last step would be to send SOL from the platform that you’ve selected previously.

In this example, I will be using Binance to send SOL.

If you are sending SOL via its native chain (SOL), the address should neither start with ‘0x‘ nor ‘bnb’ and you can choose to transfer it out.

After pasting the address, Binance automatically determines the type of network that will be used (SOL).

Once you have confirmed the transaction, you will be able to receive SOL in your Trust Wallet.

Conclusion

When you are sending SOL to Trust Wallet, you are able to send it via its native chain (SOL).

You may want to note that if you want to withdraw SOL from your Trust Wallet in the future, you will need to use the same network that you originally used to deposit it.
