If you’re looking to buy FLOKI, there are a few things you may need to do first. This includes adding FLOKI to both your Metamask wallet and Pancakeswap.

Since FLOKI is a custom token, here are the steps you’ll need to add to both platforms:

How to add FLOKI to Metamask

Here are 4 steps to add FLOKI to Metamask:

1. Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet or Binance Smart Chain
2. Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then ‘Import Custom Token’
3. Copy the Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain contract from CoinMarketCap
4. Double check that FLOKI is detected and select ‘Add Custom Token’

Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet or Binance Smart Chain

The first thing you’ll need to do is to ensure that you are using either the Ethereum Mainnet or Binance Smart Chain on Metamask.

The Ethereum Mainnet is the default network when you set up your Metamask wallet.

Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then ‘Import Custom Token’

For this example, I will be using the Binance Smart Chain. However, the steps are similar when you are adding FLOKI to the Ethereum Mainnet.

Once you’re on the Binance Smart Chain, the next step will be to select ‘Import Tokens‘.

On the Binance Smart Chain network, you are only able to import custom tokens.

Copy the Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain contract from CoinMarketCap

For the next part, you can go to the FLOKI page on CoinMarketCap.

I prefer using CoinMarketCap to obtain the contract address, as it is one of the most reliable sites with regards to cryptocurrencies.

It is important that you ensure that the site where you’re obtaining the contract address from is a credible source!

There is a section called ‘Contracts‘, where you’ll see the Ethereum contract for FLOKI.

If you click on the ‘More‘ button, you will be able to see the Binance Smart Chain contract for FLOKI.

You can click on the contract and it will be copied to your clipboard.

Double check that FLOKI is detected and select ‘Add Custom Token’

Once you’ve copied the Contract Address, you can paste it in the ‘Token Contract Address‘ field in Metamask.

If you pasted the correct contract address, FLOKI should automatically appear as the Token Symbol.

After selecting ‘Add Custom Token‘, you will need to confirm importing FLOKI one more time.

Once you’ve successfully imported FLOKI to your Metamask wallet, you should see it as one of your assets under the Binance Smart Chain.

This is similar to how you would add ETH or AQUAGOAT to your Metamask wallet.

How to add FLOKI to Pancakeswap

Here’s how you can add FLOKI to the Pancakeswap platform:

1. Go to the FLOKI information page on Pancakeswap
2. Select ‘Trade’ on the information page
3. Confirm the import of FLOKI to Pancakeswap

The first thing you’ll need to do is to go to the FLOKI information page on Pancakeswap.

Select ‘Trade’ on the information page

After you’ve reached the FLOKI page on Pancakeswap, you can select ‘Trade‘.

Confirm the import of FLOKI to Pancakeswap

Pancakeswap will ask for your confirmation to import FLOKI.

After viewing the disclaimer and accepting it, you are now able to swap tokens you have on the Binance Smart Chain to FLOKI!

Conclusion

Since FLOKI is a rather new cryptocurrency, you will need to add it as a custom token to both Metamask and Pancakeswap.

The processes are similar to how you would add JADE or TITANO to both platforms too.
