If you’re looking to buy JADE to stake on the JADE Protocol, there are a few things you may need to do first. This includes adding the JADE token to both your Metamask wallet and Pancakeswap.
Currently, Pancakeswap is one of the few platforms which allow you to buy JADE from either BUSD or BNB.
Since JADE is a custom token, here are the steps you’ll need to add to both platforms:
How to add JADE to Metamask
Here are 4 steps to add JADE to Metamask:
- Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Binance Smart Chain
- Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then ‘Import Custom Token’
- Copy the Binance Smart Chain contract from CoinMarketCap
- Double check that JADE is detected and select ‘Add Custom Token’
Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Binance Smart Chain
The first thing you’ll need to do is to ensure that you are using the Binance Smart Chain on Metamask.

Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then ‘Import Custom Token’
Once you’re on the Binance Smart Chain, the next step will be to select ‘Import Tokens‘.
On the Binance Smart Chain network, you are only able to import custom tokens.
Copy the Binance Smart Chain contract from CoinMarketCap
For the next part, you can go to the JADE page on CoinMarketCap.
I prefer using CoinMarketCap to obtain the contract address, as it is one of the most reliable sites with regards to cryptocurrencies.
It is important that you ensure that the site where you’re obtaining the contract address from is a credible source!
There is a section called ‘Contracts‘, where you’ll see the BSC contract for JADE.
You can click on the contract and it will be copied to your clipboard.
Double check that JADE is detected and select ‘Add Custom Token’
Once you’ve copied the Contract Address, you can paste it in the ‘Token Contract Address‘ field in Metamask.
If you pasted the correct contract address, JADE should automatically appear as the Token Symbol.
After selecting ‘Add Custom Token‘, you will need to confirm importing JADE one more time.
Once you’ve successfully imported JADE to your Metamask wallet, you should see it as one of your assets under the Binance Smart Chain.
This will allow you to view any JADE that you’ve deposited via the BSC!
How to add JADE to Pancakeswap
- Go to the JADE information page on Pancakeswap
- Select ‘Trade’ on the information page
- Confirm the import of JADE to Pancakeswap

The first thing you’ll need to do is to go to the JADE information page on Pancakeswap.
If you search for JADE on Pancakeswap, you may realise that there are 2 currencies: JADE and Jade Currency.
The correct JADE is the first one, and not Jade Currency!
Select ‘Trade’ on the information page
After you’ve reached the JADE page on Pancakeswap, you can select ‘Trade‘.
Confirm the import of JADE to Pancakeswap
Pancakeswap will ask for your confirmation to import the JADE token.
After viewing the disclaimer and accepting it, you are now able to swap tokens you have on the Binance Smart Chain to JADE!
Conclusion
Since JADE is a rather new cryptocurrency, you will need to add it as a custom token to both Metamask and Pancakeswap.
The processes are similar to how you would add TITANO or NMS to both platforms too.
Once you’ve added it to both platforms, you can use the Jade Protocol to stake your JADE tokens for some crazy yields!
