How to add the Moonbeam network to your Metamask wallet
To add the Moonbeam network to your Metamask wallet, you will need to access the official documentation for Moonbeam, and then select the ‘Connect to Moonbeam‘ button. This will bring up your Metamask wallet, and ask you to give permission to add this network to your wallet.
On the documentation for Moonbeam, there is a section that allows you to add Moonbeam to your Metamask wallet.
If you have Metamask installed in your browser, you will be prompted to add it to your wallet.
Once you have approved this addition, you will be able to view the Moonbeam network with GLMR as the native token.

How to send Moonbeam (GLMR) to your Metamask wallet

You will need to buy GLMR on an exchange that supports withdrawals on the Moonbeam network.

Obtain the GLMR deposit address from your Metamask wallet
After adding the Moonbeam network to your Metamask wallet, you will need to copy the deposit address from your Metamask wallet.
You may notice that this address is exactly the same as your Ethereum Mainnet and BNB Smart Chain addresses. However, you will still need to add the Moonbeam network to your Metamask wallet so that you view the GLMR tokens that you’ve sent over.
Withdraw from the platform of your choice using the Moonbeam network
The next step will be to withdraw GLMR using the Moonbeam network.
For most platforms, you are currently only able to withdraw GLMR using the Moonbeam network, so there should not be any problems.
Receive GLMR in your Metamask Wallet
For the last step, you will receive GLMR in your Metamask wallet.
The speed of the transaction depends on how congested the Moonbeam network is.
How do I transfer GLMR from Binance to Metamask?
To transfer GLMR from Binance to Metamask, you will need to obtain the Moonbeam deposit address from Metamask and use this network to transfer GLMR.
Once you have copied this address from Metamask, you will need to go to Wallet‘, and then ‘Fiat/Spot‘ on Binance’s platform.
Once you’re there, you can search for GLMR, and then select ‘Withdraw‘.
Enter the transaction details and withdraw GLMR using the Moonbeam network
The next step will be to enter the transaction details.
After pasting the GLMR deposit address from Metamask, Binance will auto-detect to show that you can withdraw using the Moonbeam network.
After selecting the Moonbeam network, you will need to enter the amount of GLMR that you’ll like to send to your Metamask wallet.

Currently, you are only able to send GLMR using the Moonbeam network, and you can use platforms like Binance or Kraken to make the transfer.
