Orion Protocol (ORN) is a DeFi platform thataggregates the liquidity of every crypto exchange you make into one decentralized platform.
If you’re looking to transfer your ORN tokens to your Metamask wallet, you will need to import them as a custom token.
The process of adding ORN is much easier, as you do not need to add it as a custom token like OHM.
Here’s a guide to help you get started.

How to add ORN to Metamask on the Ethereum Network
Here are 3 steps to add ORN to Metamask:
- Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet
- Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then search for ORN
- Confirm the addition of ORN to your Metamask wallet
Go to Metamask and ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet
The first thing you’ll need to do is to ensure that you are using the Ethereum Mainnet on Metamask.
This is the default network for all Metamask wallets. However, you are also able to connect Metamask to other blockchain networks, such as:
As such, do remember to be on the Ethereum Mainnet before moving on to the next step.
Select ‘Import Tokens’, and then search for ORN
Once you’re on the Ethereum Mainnet, the next step will be to select ‘Import Tokens‘.
On the ‘Search‘ tab, you can search and select ORN as the token that you wish to import.
Alternatively, you can go to the ‘Custom Token‘ section.
After copying the Ethereum contract from CoinMarketCap
you can paste it in the ‘Token Contract Address‘ field in Metamask.
If you pasted the correct contract address, ORN should automatically appear as the Token Symbol.
Confirm the addition of ORN to your Metamask wallet
The last step you will need to do is to confirm importing ORN one more time.
Once you’ve successfully imported ORN to your Metamask wallet, you should see it as one of your assets under the Ethereum Mainnet.
This process is similar to adding other tokens, such as SAND or MANA.
The same can be done for adding ORN to the BNB Chain
You can add ORN to the BNB chain (BEP20) as well. Although CoinMarketCap does not have the contract address, you can copy the address from Orion’s website instead.
Moreover, you will need to add the BEP20 network to your Metamask wallet, where a guide can be found here.
You can repeat the same process as above, and you will be able to add ORN to the BEP20 network.
How to send ORN to Metamask
To send ORN to your Metamask wallet, you will need to buy it on a crypto exchange (such as Binance or KuCoin), and then use either the ERC20 or BEP20 network to send ORN from the platform to your Metamask wallet.
The 2 main platforms that list ORN on their exchange include Binance and KuCoin. As such, you can buy ORN on either platform, and then send it to your Metamask wallet.
When you are withdrawing ORN from Binance, you are able to withdraw it via the ERC20 or BEP20 network.
As such, you will need to choose which network you wish to send ORN to. The fees for sending it via the ERC20 network is more expensive compared to the BEP20 network.
Conclusion
ORN is an ERC20 native token, hence you can deposit ORN via the ERC20 or BEP20 network to your Metamask wallet.
After adding and receiving your tokens to your Metamask wallet, you can consider using decentralised exchange (DEX) aggregators, including:
Since both platforms are DeFi aggregators, they will ensure that you will get the best rates for any swaps that you make!
